Battlefords RCMP say four people are facing impaired driving charges after a busy weekend of service calls.
At around 3:25 p.m. CT on Aug. 18, a driver located on 22 Street was stopped by police. The 39-year-old man from the Battlefords area was arrested.
He faces charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, failure to provide a breath sample, operating a motor vehicle without a registration and driving while licence renewal is refused by an administrator.

Police attended a call on Highway 16 near Delmas, Sask., at around 9:10 a.m. on Aug. 19. The driver of the vehicle had drove off the highway and into a field.
An investigation revealed that the driver was a 17-year-old girl from the Cutknife area.
She was arrested and faces charges that include operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) over 80 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood.

At around 1:05 p.m. the same day, RCMP located an alleged impaired driver on 110 Street in North Battleford.
The 33-year-old woman was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample. She was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failure to provide a breath sample.
On Aug. 20, police located a vehicle going 137 kilometres per hour on Highway 4 south of Battleford. The vehicle was stopped and officers found a 30-year-old man was impaired by alcohol and subsequently arrested.
RCMP said he became confrontational and police were therefore unable to obtain a breath sample.
He was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, failure to provide a breath sample and uttering threats to police.
Battlefords RCMP received 249 calls for service from 6 a.m. on Aug. 18 to 6 a.m. on Aug. 21.
