New Brunswick RCMP say a fatal crash in Dugas, N.B. this weekend has killed two people and injured three.
According to police, a car occupied by three young men was heading southbound on Route 11 on Saturday when it rear-ended a car in front of it, sending it across the centre line.
The vehicle was then struck on its side by a car heading northbound.

According to police, the three-car collision left the couple in the rear-ended vehicle, a 72-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, dead at the scene.
One family, a man, a woman and a girl, was in the northbound car. All sustained serious injuries.
They were transported to hospital with the girl eventually being airlifted to a hospital in Halifax.
Three young men were in the first vehicle which fled the scene. The car was later found in a gravel pit, burned.

The driver of the car was later arrested, then released on a promise to appear.
None of the three men in that car was hurt.
RCMP say a collision reconstruction was at the scene. Their investigation is ongoing.
