RCMP west of Edmonton are investigating an attempted burglary in which three men with a pitbull tried to break into a home last week.
Police said on May 15 at approximately 9:00 p.m., three men tried to force their way into a home in the Westerra subdivision in Stony Plain.
Mounties said one of the men was holding what appeared to be a firearm and a second man had a grey pitbull dog with him on a leash.
The residents of the home were able to push the door closed and call police. The men fled in a black GMC Terrain SUV.
