Police say a needle was discovered in the leftover cooked potatoes, but no one was injured.
The bag of potatoes was bought at the Giant Tiger on Dutch Village Road on Nov. 6 and was from P.E.I.
The discovery is the latest potential case of tampering after metal pieces and needles were first discovered in P.E.I. potatoes in 2014. Police have since investigated multiple cases.
