As the United States prepares to usher in a new and controversial president, the internet is offering some levity via Barack Obama and Joe Biden memes.

They’re snapshots of the president and vice president captioned with fictitious conversations that highlight the duo’s “bromance,” and paint Biden as a prankster out to get Donald Trump.
Both Obama and Biden have been vocal about the importance of the relationship they’ve forged over the years, proving that their collaboration goes beyond politics. In 2010, when Biden’s son Beau suffered a stroke, Obama offered his running mate financial support, and when Beau passed away in 2015, the president delivered his eulogy.

The vice president has called his boss “family” and even referred to the First Lady as “kid,” showing that these two are the true embodiment of #friendshipgoals.
