An early morning shooting at a home on Froom Crescent has a Regina resident concerned about his safety.

King Kaluta said at around 3:30 a.m. CT, he heard gunshots being fired at his house. Two bullet holes were visible on his front picture window Saturday afternoon.

“I was shaking. I couldn’t sleep. You see, even my eyes, I didn’t sleep. I’ve never witnessed something like this,” Kaluta said.

Kaluta said there were seven people in the home at the time of the shooting. He said half were sleeping and the others were gathered in the main living room.

“We were just inside talking, having fun and then we heard gunshots,” Kaluta remembered.

According to Kaluta, his friend was standing and they were lucky no one was struck.

“Those two bullets went to the direction where my friend and I were standing so … it was scary,” Kaluta said.

Police said there is no one in custody. The suspects are described as two black males in their 20s and appear to have left in a newer model car.

The investigation is ongoing.
