WINNIPEG — After learning to play music together at 12-years-old, a group of Winnipeggers joined together to make their dream pop group a reality.
Years later, Winnipeg band Panicland has thousands of followers across Canada and just released their new single ‘Bad Word’.
“There’s a lot of shy songs on the radio, we wanted one that’s sort of cocky,” said lead singer Braedon Basseo on Global News Morning Winnipeg. “It just hit number 47 on the Canadian pop charts.”
The band also said they are writing with co-writers who have had hit songs with Britney Spears, Nick Jonas and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Panicland performed on Global News Morning in Winnipeg on Monday.
