Regina Police responded to a garage fire at 11:51 a.m. at 42 Fletcher Place on Sunday.
Crews arrived within five minutes of receiving the distress call, and successfully isolated the blaze to the attached garage which was fully engulfed in flames.

The homeowner reported to fire officials that the blaze started in the car, which was parked in the garage at the time.
The family was home at the time and all members including pets escaped without injury.
The fire is still under investigation.
