SAINT-TITE-DES-CAPS, QUE. – A man, a woman and a child are dead after a collision Friday afternoon in Saint-Tite-des Caps, in the Quebec City region.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, the collision happened at around 4:45 pm., when a minivan heading east on Highway 138 swerved into the westbound lane crashing into an oncoming car.

All three occupants of the car were killed. The jaws of life where used to pull the man, believed to be in his 50s, from the wreckage. The woman is believed to be in her 40s, while the child is thought to be around 12.

The driver of the minivan suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
