RCMP are searching for the man behind an armed robbery at a central Alberta hotel.
It happened at the Leslieville Hotel about 20 kilometres east of Rocky Mountain House, Alta. at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Investigators said a masked man armed with what is described as a military-style assault rifle entered the bar, threatening the waitress on shift.

One patron was inside the bar at the time. However, police said no one was injured in the robbery.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. It’s believed he left the area in a light-coloured pickup truck.

Rocky Mountain house is located about 200 kilometres north of Calgary.
