Evander Kane is not playing Tuesday night against the Ottawa Senators after he was suspended by the Buffalo Sabres for missing practice on Monday.

The Sabres’ coach, Dan Bylsma said Kane went to an NBA All-Star Game in Toronto Sunday night. Kane then slept in Monday morning, missing practice and breaking a team rule.

The Buffalo Sabres tweeted out that the suspension will be dealt with internally.

On Sunday evening, Kane posted a photo of himself and his younger sister at the event on Instagram. According to the Buffalo News, Kane also posted, and later deleted, footage of himself partying on Snapchat.

The 24-year-old has 16 goals and 8 assists in 47 games with Buffalo this season after being acquired from Winnipeg last year.
