Cocaine, cash seized in Saskatoon drug bust

SASKATOON – Two men are expected in court Monday after a drug bust in Saskatoon over the weekend. Police say they seized 45.3 grams of cocaine in the bust.

The bust happened Saturday after members of the integrated drug enforcement street team spotted a transaction taking placing at 8th Street East and Grosvenor Avenue.

Two men were arrested and searched immediately after the transaction.

Along with the cocaine police say they found on a 43-year-old man, a 41-year-old man was found with $1,850 in cash.

Police then searched the home of the 43-year-old man, turning up 17.3 grams of cocaine and $10,590 in cash, along with a digital scale. Police say they also seized a Ford F150 truck.
