Over 100 charges laid in Saskatoon drug bust

SASKATOON – Three people are facing over 100 charges after a drug bust in Saskatoon. Police made the bust Wednesday evening in the 900-block of Avenue K South following a tip about possible criminal activity at the home.

A search of the home by members of the criminal investigations division turned up a number of drugs including crystal meth, cocaine and marijuana, and several weapons including two sawed-off shotguns, a revolver and a handgun.

Investigators also seized bats, bear spray and ammunition.

Two men, 19 and 25, and a 27-year-old woman are facing 119 charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, production of a substance, possession of the proceeds of crime and various weapons charges.

They were scheduled to appear Friday in Saskatoon provincial court.

  • 147 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • 213 grams of cocaine
  • 407 grams of marihuana
  • 2,500 milligrams of Diazepam
  • 13,500 milligrams of codeine
  • 6,700 milligrams of Demerol
  • 1 Dextraoamphetamine pill
