SASKATOON – Police have made two more drug busts in Saskatoon. The first happened on Friday while the second took place late Saturday.
In the first bust, four people from Saskatoon are facing 29 charges after an investigation by members of the integrated drug enforcement street team.
Officer stopped a Chevrolet Cobalt in the 100-block of Avenue O South and a search turned up more than 53 grams of meth, 1.4 grams of crack cocaine, three morphine pills, $200 in cash and a conducted energy weapon. A 38-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested.
Police then searched a home in the same block, seizing 53 grams of meth, $1,000 in cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia. A 29-year-old man was arrested.
Officers also arrested a 33-year-old man when he came to the home and was found to have 5.8 grams of meth in his possession.
Charges against the four include possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of court orders.

The second bust happened late Saturday night when officers say they spotted drug activity taking place from a Honda Civic parked at the corner of Avenue H South and 20th Street West.
Police seized 107 capsules of Hydromorph-Contin and $600 in cash when they searched the vehicle.
A 26-year-old Regina woman is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
All five were scheduled to appear Monday in Saskatoon provincial court.
