Canadian artist The Weeknd is everywhere these days (he performed at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last night), and he’s pounding out the singles on a regular basis.
He has now released his latest video (and sure-to-be hit), “In the Night,” which stars his girlfriend Bella Hadid as a stripper assassin.

Hadid had originally refused The Weeknd — whose real name is Abel Tesfaye — when he asked if she’d pose for the cover of his album, and then the two started dating.
The six-minute-plus video features Hadid and her posse of strippers exacting revenge on clients who didn’t treat the women properly. Tesfaye is the good guy in the video, and he and Hadid ride away on a motorcycle at the end after she’s assassinated the men. (Shout-out to the dead ringer for U2’s Bono at 1:58.)
It’s violent, it’s sexy, and it’s certain to rocket up the charts.

The Weeknd was nominated for seven Grammys this week, and is still riding high on the Billboard charts. “In the Night” is yet another contender for fans’ adoration, especially with the addition of Hadid to the video. Fans are already expressing their love for the video on Twitter.
