WATCH: Starbucks barista can’t help dancing to The Weeknd

Toronto hip-hop artist The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” is one of the hottest songs of the summer.

The undeniably catchy tune has burned up the charts, sitting at top position for its eighth week on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.

The song is clearly one Starbucks barista’s jam.

In a Facebook video posted by Robert Ashwander, the barista in Webster, Texas, can’t seem to stand still while the song blasts from the stereo.

Ashwander said he and his friend pulled up to the drive-thru window on Tuesday with the volume on full blast and paid for their caramel macchiatos. Then suddenly they were treated to a show.

“He just came out of nowhere and started dancing and threw straws at us,” he said. “He didn’t even say a word to us. He just started dancing and we started laughing.”

Apparently, the barista burst out from the back room simply to get down to the tune.

Ashwander is also a fan of The Weeknd and has been following his career since the release of his 2012 album Trilogy.

“I think he’s the next Michael Jackson,” he said.

He may not have caught up to the King of Pop, but The Weeknd is breaking records with his latest album Beauty Behind the Madness.

All 14 tracks have charted in the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list, with 12 of the album’s tracks concurrently listed for the week of Sept. 19, making history for the most songs charted by a non-rapper in a week.

He occupies first and second position on the list with “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills.”
