Pair found dead in parked vehicle died of gunshots wounds

EDMONTON — A man and woman who were found dead inside a parked vehicle in southwest Edmonton last week died of gunshot wounds, police said Wednesday.

Officers said in a media release that the deaths of Daniel Andrew Edward Fullerton and Dianna Teresa Wilk are homicides. Both Fullerton and Wilk were 28 years old. Their relationship is not known at this time.

Police were called to the area of 173 Street and 11 Avenue SW at around 7:40 p.m. Friday after a passerby noticed the bodies in the vehicle.

Several neighbours in the Windermere area said they didn’t recognize the vehicle where the bodies were found.

Global News has learned Fullerton was originally from Rosetown, Sask.
