Police called the deaths suspicious, but couldn’t say if it was a double-homicide.

“It’s a very quiet neighbourhood, very new, fairly affluent neighbourhood, and as investigators said, crime can happen any time, any place,” said Pattison.

Several neighbours in the area told Global News they didn’t recognize the vehicle where the bodies were found.

As of Sunday morning, police couldn’t say if they had any suspects.

Autopsies on the two victims have been scheduled for Tuesday morning.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
