RCMP say alcohol may have been a contributing factor in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday morning east of Colonsay, Sask. Emergency services were called to the collision at 8:10 a.m. CT.

The initial investigation indicates a westbound pickup truck was rear-ended by a westbound sedan car at the intersection of highways 12 and 2.

A passenger from the car and the driver of the truck have been taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment of undetermined injuries.
