Saskatchewan Huskies fall to Manitoba Bisons 34-28

SASKATOON – The 2015 Canada West Football season is officially underway. The University of Saskatchewan Huskies hosted the University of Manitoba Bisons in front of 6,457 football fans Friday night.

The last time these two teams met was at the 2014 Canada West semifinal when the Bisons mounted a fierce second-half comeback to end the Huskies season.

So far, it’s not the start Saskatchewan was looking for in the 2015 regular season.

After four quarters at Griffiths Stadium Friday, the Bisons took it 34-28.

Huskies hit the road next week to take on the University of Alberta Golden Bears on Sept. 11.
