REGINA – A couple is taking to social media to help find their stolen car, which may have been used in multiple robberies.
On July 18th, Kyle Munday was working at the north Bulk Barn when he left his keys in the door of the back office. He was in a rush as he had to cover a cashier’s break.
When he went to retrieve his keys later, he couldn’t find them anywhere. He had a sneaking suspicion they might not be the only thing missing and when he went to the parking lot, he realized his car was gone.
The car is a black 2012 four-door Hyundai Elantra with license plate 098 JTU.
The next day, a friend of Munday’s saw his car used in an alleged robbery at the Superstore Gas Bar on Rochdale Boulevard. The driver was wearing Munday’s sunglasses and was caught on surveillance video.
He was spotted again on Wednesday, this time robbing the east Superstore Gas Bar with a stolen license plate, 912 GRL. Once again he wore the sunglasses, but added Munday’s Maple Leafs jacket as well.

Munday and his girlfriend have been chronicling their car’s whereabouts on Facebook in the hope that someone might spot the car or recognize the suspect.
“Just to catch this guy. Make sure he’s not causing any harm to the public,” he said. “He did a wrong, he should be caught.”
So far, the surveillance videos have been shared almost 300 times and seen by over 12,000 people.
“I was expecting just a few people looking at it here and there. I didn’t expect it was going to be this huge,” said Munday.
