UPDATE: Friday, July 24 (4:08 p.m. ET): John Stamos has taken to Twitter to announce that he’s “healthy” and “grateful” after spending one month in rehab.

The actor spent 30 days of his summer completing a rehabilitation program after being arrested for DUI on June 12.

“I’m back! Took a month to take care of things. Healthy,” Stamos tweeted. “Feeling grateful for the love & support of family & friends.” The kind words were accompanied by a photo of the actor taking a swing at a punching bag.

Stamos is slated to appear in court on September 11. His new Fox show, “Grandfathered,” hits television screens later that month on September 28.

John Stamos has reportedly entered rehab, with People reporting the former Full House star is seeking treatment for “substance abuse.”

According to PEOPLE, Stamos has “checked himself into a residential program for treatment of substance abuse.”

The actor’s entry into rehab follows last month’s DUI arrest, when Stamos was pulled over in Beverly Hills when he was spotted driving erratically, and was deemed so inebriated by police officers that he was immediately sent to a nearby hospital.

According to The New York Post, a rep for Stamos has asked for privacy, and offers no further comment.
