Calgary – Police have laid charges in connection to a stabbing at the Stampede grounds earlier this week.
Officers were called to the grounds around midnight on Thursday after a fight broke out on the midway.
When officers arrived they found two people suffering from stab wounds. One of the victims was taken to Foothills hospital in critical condition, while the second was treated at the Rockyview Hospital and released.
A foot pursuit led police to a third man who had also been stabbed. Police believe he was responsible for the stabbings.
