SASKATOON – Police are hoping surveillance photos will help then nab several instrument thieves.

Long & McQuade on 43rd Street East was robbed of two Selmer Paris Series III alto saxophones worth thousands of dollars during the afternoon of Oct. 24.

Police say the surveillance video shows a man wearing a three-quarter length overcoat entering the store around 4:20 p.m.

He then took off his overcoat, hid a saxophone underneath and left.

Around 10 minutes later, a man and a woman entered the store and moments later a second man, wearing a dark coloured hoodie with grey stripes entered.

The second man took a saxophone from the wall, hid it under his hoodie and then left the store while the first two people positioned themselves between the second man and store staff.
