SASKATOON – Everyone is safe after a house fire in Saskatoon Wednesday morning.
Just before 5:20 a.m., firefighters received an alarm of a possible fire and received confirmation of a structure fire while on their way to at 211 Avenue I North.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the one-and-a-half story house and started an offensive attack. The fire was located and confined to the kitchen and brought under control in 13 minutes.
Fire officials say there is smoke damage to the rest of the home.
Two adults and two children were alerted to the fire by the alarm system and were able to escape.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
