Shell Canada says a number of gas stations in Edmonton and Calgary are experiencing a “supply interruption” due to an “upset” at the Shell Scotford Refinery near Fort Saskatchewan on August 9.

It’s not known exactly how many stations have been affected by the gas shortage or when they would be back up and running.
Shell Canada says staff are working very hard to address and issue and apologize for any inconvenience customers may be experiencing.
