The band was forced to pull the plug on the shows because singer Gary LeVox, 44, has lost his voice.

Organizers of the Rockin’ River festival said they are scrambling to find a replacement for Rascal Flatts, which was due to headline a day of performances by artists like Gord Bamford and Kenny Hess.

The group also cancelled shows in Nampa, Idaho and in Airway Heights, Washington.

“It is incredibly difficult to make the decision to cancel shows and disappoint our loyal fans who have been so good to us over the years,” said Rascal Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus in a message posted on the band’s website.
