TORONTO — Actor Michael Jace, best known for his role on The Shield, was charged early Tuesday with the murder of his wife.
April Jace was found shot to death Monday night in her Los Angeles home.

According to TMZ, Michael Jace called 911 and admitted: “I shot my wife.” The website also reported the couple’s two young children witnessed the shooting.
The actor has also had small roles in a number of TV series and in movies like Forrest Gump and Planet of the Apes.
Jace was married for nine years. His age is being reported as between 48 and 51.
