TORONTO — U.S. president Barack Obama and vice president Joe Biden appear in a new video with stars like Daniel Craig, Steve Carell, Dulé Hill and Seth Meyers to speak up against sexual assaults of women on school campuses.
“If I saw it happening I’d never blame her,” Craig says in the public service announcement, which was posted Tuesday. “I’d help her.”

Actor Benicio Del Toro adds: “If she doesn’t consent, or she can’t consent, it’s rape, it’s assault.”
The 60-second video is part of 1 is 2 Many, a White House initiative that comes three months after Obama and Biden created the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault.
According to the 1 is 2 Many website, one in five young women will be a victim of sexual assault while they are in college.
“It’s happening to our sisters and our daughters,” Carell says in the video.
The video will also be shown in select movie theatres in the U.S.
The message is aimed at young men.
“We need all of you to be part of the solution,” says Biden. “This is about respect. This is about responsibility.”
