MARTENSVILLE, Sask. – A man is dead after a crash between a car and a minivan on Highway 12 late Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. by the south entrance to Martensville, Sask. after a Grand Prix apparently crossed the highway into the northbound lane where it was struck by a northbound Windstar.
Both vehicles ended up in the centre median.
The 29-year-old driver of the Grand Prix was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The occupants of the Windstar sustained unknown injuries.
Traffic was detoured while a collision analyst carried out an investigation.
The cause of the collision has not been determined.
