HAFFORD, Sask. – Police have recovered tens of thousands of dollars in stolen goods after a rural property was searched last week.
Mounties executed the search warrant last Thursday on the property four kilometres south of Hafford.
A large amount of stolen property was recovered and has been linked to numerous thefts and break and enters in the Saskatoon, Hafford and Blaine Lake areas.
Recovered property includes a semi-tractor unit and a fuel truck with 4,500 gallons of diesel fuel, tools in excessive of $60,000 and copper wire.
Scott Anderson, 45, from Slave Lake, Alta., is charged with possession of stolen property.
He appeared in court Monday morning and is being held in custody until his next appearance.
The investigation continues and further charges are pending.
Blaine Lake RCMP encourage people to contact them at 306-497-3600 if they believe any of the stolen property might belong to them.
