One person is dead following an early morning crash along Stoney Trail near McKnight Boulevard in the city’s northeast.
Calgary police confirmed that they were called to the crash shortly before 3:30 a.m. and one person was pronounced dead at the crash site. The age and gender of the deceased has not been released.
The road reopened to traffic shortly before 9 a.m.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police.
