South Okanagan Video Journalist
Taya Fast is a video journalist in the South Okanagan for Global News.
Taya graduated from BCIT’s broadcast and online journalism program in 2020. During her time at BCIT, she had the opportunity to intern at News1130 Radio and Global BC.
Taya’s broadcast career began in Prince George, where she worked as a video journalist and fill-in anchor for CKPG News.
She loves to meet new people and is passionate about delivering stories that highlight local voices.
Born in Atlanta, Ga., and raised in Abbotsford, Taya is excited to now call Penticton home.
In her free time, you can find Taya at the gym or trying out local restaurants.
