Jeffrey Meskens is a Digital Broadcast Journalist with Global Saskatoon.
After graduating from journalism school in Belgium he became an editor for one of Belgium’s largest newspapers. After leaving the position with the newspaper, Jeffrey and his wife moved to Canada where he began working freelance for the Saskatoon Star Phoenix before joining Global News in January 2023.
Jeffrey enjoys seeing all of the interesting places and people he gets the chance to encounter through reporting. When he’s not busy reporting, he enjoys discovering new and fun things to do around Saskatoon, learning Chinese, reading fantasy and sci-fi, playing video and board games and painting miniatures.
