TORONTO – Canadian director Jason Reitman’s staged reading of Boogie Nights at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has an all-star cast but, as of Thursday morning, is missing a key member.

The Montreal-born filmmaker will announce via Twitter who will play well-endowed porn star Dirk Diggler, a role originated in the 1997 film by Mark Wahlberg.

Wahlberg, coincidentally, will be in Toronto for a party to mark the launch of his family’s Wahlburgers restaurant at the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.

Also yet to be cast in the live reading is Burt Reynolds’ character, Jack Horner.

Reitman has enlisted real-life couple Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde to play Buck Swope and Amber Waves respectively – roles originated in the movie by Don Cheadle and Julianne Moore.

Former child star Dakota Johnson will read the Heather Graham part, Rollergirl, and comedian Dane Cook will play John C. Reilly’s Reed Rothchild.
