Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign three of their draft picks

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced they’ve signed three of the club’s recent draft picks.

Offensive lineman Zachary Intzandt, defensive lineman Rupert Butcher and linebacker Frank Renaud have all inked their first professional contracts.

Five of the Bombers recent draft choices remained unsigned including their two – second round selections Trent Corney and Michael Couture. Third round selection Taylor Loffler, fourth round pick Shayne Gauthier and seventh rounder Alex Vitt are also in need of a contract.

All three of the newly signed draft picks are expected to be at the team’s rookie camp when it kicks off on May 25. The rest of the team will report for physicals on May 28.
