Breakups are hard, but celebrity breakups are that much tougher because you’re constantly in the public eye. Kristen Stewart has finally spoken about her very public breakup from Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight couple’s relationship ended when Stewart was caught cheating with her Snow White And The Huntsman director back in 2012.
“It was incredibly painful,” Stewart told The Daily Beast, while out promoting her new film Equals at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday.
Stewart found comfort in her co-star Nicholas Hoult, who just so happened to be going through his own public breakup from actress Jennifer Lawrence.

“It was a really good time for both of us to make this movie,” Stewart explained.
“Not all of my friends have been through what I’ve been through, or what some people have tasted at a relatively speaking, young age, and we were not expected to do anything. Everything that we did was explorative and a meditation on what we already knew.”
