Edmonton Eskimos make final cuts

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Eskimos released 11 players and added 10 to its practice roster Sunday.

The team had to get down to 46 active players on the roster. Here’s a look at all the transactions made by the green and gold.

The following players were released:

  • Justin Goltz (QB)
  • Brian Ramsay (OL)
  • Denarius Appling (WR)
  • Paris Jackson (WR)
  • Nathan Kanya (LB)
  • Dawud Lane (LB)
  • Jestin Love (DB)
  • Zackary Medeiros (P/K)
  • Bryant Mitchell (WR)
  • Kacy Rodgers (DB)
  • Marte Sears (DB)

Here’s who was placed on the one-game injured list:

  • Wallace Miles (WR)
  • Greg Wojt (OL)
