Montreal police look for accomplice in Tricia Boisvert murder

MONTREAL – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an accomplice in the murder of Tricia Boisvert.

A Canada-wide warrant for accessory to murder after the fact and indignity to a corpse has been issued for 31-year-old James Boucher.

Investigators have reason to believe that Boucher may be in the Outaouais region.

Anyone with information are asked to contact 9-1-1. Information will be treated anonymously and confidentially.

Tricia Boisvert was reported missing in mid-January. The 36-year-old was last seen leaving her Montreal home in Little Burgundy.

What started off as a disappearance quickly turned into a kidnapping, and later was confirmed as Montreal’s second homicide of the year.

Philippe Steele Morin was arrested on Monday the Gatineau in connection with her death.

He appeared on Tuesday afternoon at the Court of Quebec in Montreal and is facing charges of second-degree murder and indignity to a corpse.
