Nova Scotia’s chief medical health officer Dr. Robert Strang said Thursday that the province would concentrate on hospitalizations rather than daily COVID-19 case counts as it continues to deal with a surge in the number of cases of the Omicron variant. He said they would continue to monitor trends in COVID-19 cases, however.
