Saskatchewan’s chief medical health officer Dr. Saqib Shahab announced on Tuesday that second doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine will be available in the province starting June 7. This comes following an announcement from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) stating people who had taken the AstraZeneca vaccine for the first dose could take an mRNA vaccine for their second.
