Toronto Mayor John Tory said on Thursday that he and other "big city" mayors in Canada had put in a request of $10 billion, up to possibly $15 billion, with the federal government for emergency funding due to revenue decreases. Tory said in Toronto's case, they're in need of operating funds to make up the revenue they've lost due to a decrease in use of Toronto Transit.
