The Munro Lake wildfire, burning near Peachland, remains an estimated 310 hectares in size with no significant growth overnight and into Monday.

The Munro Lake wildfire is burning out of control and is currently about 70 hectares in size. It flared up on Thursday evening due to dry conditions.

Helicopters are gathering water from Okanagan Lake and dropping it on the fire to try and prevent it from spreading further but conditions are very dry in the area.

The BC Wildfire Service said the fire is approximately 0.3 hectares in size.

During the height of Saturday's wildfire, all properties along Maranatha Drive had been evacuated, with an evacuation alert issued for nearby homes.
