One person is in custody after an employee at an office that provides free legal advice in southern Alberta was taken hostage and injured.

Lethbridge police have charged a 27-year-old man and a 19-year-old man with assaulting a peace officer with a weapon and resisting arrest after a long and tense standoff Friday afternoon.
