TORONTO — One of the biggest New Year’s celebrations in the country will be headlined by one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Demi Lovato will brave the cold to hit the stage at ET Canada‘s annual bash in Niagara Falls, Ont.

The 21-year-old singer, actress and The X Factor judge will ring in 2014 with ET Canada hosts Cheryl Hickey, Rick Campanelli and Sangita Patel — and thousands of revellers who will pack Queen Victoria Park.

“I am honoured to be a part of this event and to be performing for my fans on such a special evening,” Lovato said, in a release. “I love my Canadian fans.”

New Year’s Eve at Niagara Falls will be broadcast live starting at 10 pm on Global.
