A man has been taken to hospital and a suspect is in custody after a stabbing in Oshawa, police say.
Durham Regional Police said the incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m., in the Dalhousie Crescent and Niagara Drive area.
Police said officers found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
According to police, he was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he is now in stable, but critical condition.
Officers said a suspect was located nearby at a residence. He was taken into custody without issue.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Officers said investigators do not know of any relationship between the victim and suspect but are exploring all avenues at this time.
Police said no one else was injured as a result of the incident.
According to police, the suspect is a resident of Durham Region and is known to police.
