Man falls from Toronto balcony, lands on another man on the ground: police

Toronto police say a man has died after falling from a balcony and landing on another man, who is now in critical condition.

Police said the incident happened on Lake Shore Boulevard West and Bathurst Street just before 9 a.m. on Friday.

Investigators said the man who had fallen from the balcony of a condo near a gas station was pronounced dead in hospital despite life-saving measures.

The other man who was on the street was struck by the “falling” man above and was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
