TORONTO – A 22-year-old Toronto man is facing multiple charges after police say a woman was sexually assaulted after answering her apartment door.
Police say a man knocked on an apartment door in the Keele Street and Rogers Road area at about 5 a.m. Sunday and when the woman answered the door, the man forced his way inside.

It’s alleged that he attacked, choked and sexually assaulted the woman.
Andrew Medford, 22, is charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, threatening bodily harm and overcoming resistance by choking.
He also faces two charges related to marijuana possession.
