The rare and revered Samuel Adams Utopias 2013 batch produced 16,500 bottles, of which the LCBO is offering almost 600 for sale.
The brew is an uncarbonated blend of batches – some aged as long as 20 years – in bourbon, sherry and port casks and has an alcohol content of 28 per cent.

The brewery behind the beer said the latest batch has notes of dark fruit, such as fig, subtle sweetness and a deep, rich, malty smoothness.
This isn’t the first time the pricey beer has hit store shelves in the province. Earlier this year, 400 bottles of the 2012 10th anniversary batch sold out in hours. In 2011, LCBO sold a round of bottles over the phone and sold out in three hours.
The beer can be ordered by telephone only, not in LCBO stores or online.
