Four people have been taken to hospital after a collision in Mississauga, Ont. involving an allegedly stolen vehicle, police say.
Peel Regional Police said the collision occurred at around 1:45 p.m. on Monday in the area of Creditview and Bristol roads.

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the collision: one with three passengers and another with two inside. Police alleged the former was stolen.
Police said they were not in pursuit of the vehicle they said was stolen when it crashed, so Ontario’s police watchdog will not investigate.

Three people were taken to local hospital with minor to moderate injuries, paramedics told Global News. A fourth was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Peel police’s criminal investigation bureau will probe events around the collision.
